About me:
How should I start? I’ve been on Social Security Disability Income since Sept. 1999 and have been basically retired. I had worked my last job with the Squaxin Island Indian Tribe as their Legal Assistant, but suffice to say that did not work out. Ask me and I will tell you why. I had worked as a Group Therapy Supervisor for the Fairbanks Vets Center in Fairbanks, Alaska for 13 years and during which time I had been in college, taught one quarter (Psych 101 – General Psychology .. 4 credits, Univ. of Alaska Fairbanks) and dabbled in personal injury law as an expert witness and medical records examiner. I specialized in Forensic Neuropsychology as an adjunct specialty to Clinical Psychology as there was a need for someone whose skill set can distinguish between actual mental illnesses versus malingering and/or false-induced mental illness. In general my ability to determine through cognitive therapeutic techniques to ferret out would-be malingerers versus pathologically mental ill patients became one of my strong suits during my academic and sidebar affiliation with personal injury lawyers. In general, I grew up at Black Lake in Tumwater; attended Tumwater High School…Class of 1976 and stayed in the Pacific Northwest most of my adult life. I have no children, no siblings and do not smoke. I drink very seldom and enjoy the outdoors, action-adventure movies, comedies and the Discovery Channel as well as the Food Network.
