Yeah, I know they're allies of ours, but we really need to let other countries take care of their own.

they are too small to take care of their own...
it's like sayinig why don't the whales just kill the fishermen.

That is why they allied with the US...
and they fought with the US in Iraq, when other counties woulnd't.

Otherwise, they will jut ally with the USSR (yeah I wrote that on purspose).

Small countries have to ally with big ones... and when their ally doens't help them, they ally to someone else, wether they like it or not... then the US is left with NO ally when that process is done.

What you are suggesting is called appeasment, and that is how the first 2 world wars started...

If you don't know your history you are bent on repeating it.

yes, I know.  But Russia also knows that the US is not very well liked in most parts of the globe for being the world police.  Another conflict right now could just be a way for us to walk into an ambush or to spread our resources just a little more thin so that we collapse from the inside out.

We are in a hard position. Russia needs to be respectful of its neighbors yet they have been provoking this war for some time. They are resorting back to their old ways and this is not in line with what they claimed they wanted to do.

Yeah, i thought he'd be a wacky fun ruler.  Always running around asking people to pull his finger and find out why they call him Putin.

the georgian crisis is mccain's fault

his top foreign policy man, randy shunneman, has been a paid georgian lobbyist for several years to the tune of 200 grand last year i believe.

in an interview with cnn the president of georgia called on john mccain to turn his words into deeds - undoubtably referencing some sort of 'we will back you up' conversation they must have had.

too bad mccain is only running for president - so there's not much he can do.

quite a predicament to put your friend in senator. all roads point to georgia engaging russia because of some notion that the united states were going to back you up. some would say, an inexperienced thing do to

barack obama believes in diplomacy first. talk to your enemies, not fight them. he has proved that his foresight when it comes to matters of national security and foreign policy have been correct. who needs experience when you have common sense?

vote obama!

Just because McCain tells America's Allies that we'll have your back in times of trouble doesn't mean that it's his fault if that country get's invaded.

I'm sure he assumed that if a problem arose the current president would help.

As for Nobama, he want's to open negotiations with known terrorists.  I can't wait for him to invite them into our country to hammer out some fine details and they bring with them all their neat little chemicals, viruses and weapons just in case things don't go exactly their way.

All great empires have to fall at some point.  If he get's elected, I think the naivety of Obama may be the fall of the US.  I just hoped it wouldn't be in my lifetime.

'From the time
Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.  After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief and Leader of the Free World?

143 days. I have stuff in my refrigerator older than that.'
