How much pain can a person take?

Today I woke up with a migraine and I am angry. I am angry that I have to yet start another painful day and I can't do much about it.  I had my coffee as usual and my breakfast which is not much but still have headache.  I am contemplating weather I should take a medication or not? I have had many of these days and end up going to bed with headache.  I am wondering what I can eat ot drink that would help my headaches for today at least.  Right now I don't know because the pain at the back of my head does not allow me to think straight. I wonder how other migraine sufferes feel or take the pain? I would be curious to know? Really? Migraine medication (Triptans) do wonders and after trying different ones I have found the right one with the right dosage. I take Maxalt 5mg. The one that disolves on your tongue.  It is great but has side effects.  My hearts start beating fast after 10 minutes of taking this pill which means I won't be able to run that day.  It is dangerous. I can get a heart attack.  I am a runner (marathon runner) and running is the only way I take out my frustration of migraines. Although sometimes it is hard because when I have lot of pain I can't run and that is frustrating and I end up getting angry.  So yes today I am angry about this pain because I had lot of plans lined up for today but I won't be able to do much because of my migraine.
